Motherly Bliss: Serena Williams Shares an Intimate Moment With Daughter
Serena Williams is a fashion designer, an activist and a world-class athlete. But the legendary sportswoman is also an epitome of motherly bliss when it comes to her daughter, Alexis Olympia. Recently, Serena climbed into her 18-months old daughter’s crib to cuddle with her and take pictures. The tennis champion and her husband, Alexis Ohanian welcomed their daughter in 2017, the same year they got engaged.
Despite being less than two years old, Olympia has the same athletic traits that her mother Williams did at her age. Serena revealed that when she was two years old, she had toned arms like her daughter’s. But, Serena wouldn’t pressurize her to follow in the footsteps of her maternal family.
Serena recalled losing her first match to sister, Venus when she was eight years old. Even though she lost the game, Venus gave her the trophy as a consolation and motivation. In 2018, the sisters played each other again, with Olympia acting as their cheerleader. She won the hearts of many when the cameras caught her clapping for the two ladies.
Serena has become one of the best female tennis players on earth with tens of trophies and accolades to her name. She knows her coach has some of her trophies, but she can’t remember where she kept the rest.
