If you can’t find inspiration in the workplace, it’s hard to thrive. This may be true for some and there’s nothing wrong with it – well, as long as it’s allowed in the company you are working at. We’re talking about the relationships built in the office, and no, not the platonic kind.
If you don’t believe that you can find your soulmate at work, then let these celebrity couples who met on the set make you think otherwise:
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie
When HBO released Game of Thrones, it didn’t just connect with the audience, even the actors themselves connected… on a deeper level, that is. Ygritte and Jon Snow’s relationship didn’t end well but that doesn’t mean the actors who play the part, Rose Leslie and Kit Harington, will follow the same trajectory.
Obviously, things went well for them after meeting on the set of the show and they even ended up marrying each other in June last year.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis
That ‘70s Show is so iconic that it is hard to forget the stars who were catapulted to stardom. Some of the stellar cast members were Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who we now know are a couple – just like their characters in the hit show, Jackie and Kelso, respectively. While they met on the set, they shared that it wasn’t romantic at all in the beginning.
Ashton went on to tie the knot with actress Demi Moore while Mila was in a long-term relationship with Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin. However, things finally worked out years later for the onscreen partners and they now have two wonderful kids.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
Yup, the couple everybody loves for their nonstop teasing on social media (which oddly looks so sweet) met on the set, too. In 2011, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were paired opposite each other in the superhero DC film Green Lantern.
At the time, the comedian was still married to Avengers star Scarlett Johansson while the blonde actress had just ended a relationship with her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley. She was also linked to Titanic thespian Leonardo DiCaprio. By 2012, the equally good-looking pair exchanged I Do’s in South Carolina.
Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. met in 1997 on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer but it wasn’t until three years later when they started to date. They tied the knot in 2002 and both of them have been mum about their private lives since then.
